NZHEA is an incorporated society that represents the interests of Health Education teachers in Aotearoa. It has been involved in NEX since undertaking a pilot project in 2017 alongside EONZ and HETTANZ.

It is a firm advocate for quality teaching and learning in NZC-linked Health Education and in doing so works with groups and people within and outside of education.

NZHEA is committed through its NEX work to develop teacher capacity in Health Education teaching, learning and assessment across regions in Aotearoa.
